B.Sc. Architecture and Landscape Architecture

The B.Sc. in Architecture or in Landscape Architecture studies take minimum three years and the credits required are 180 ECTS.

The studies consist of basic studies and practical training. Lecture and design courses form the frame of the teaching and are supplemented by seminars, excursions and special workshops. In addition, fine arts and crafts play a central role during the first two study years.

The university does not offer any Bachelors' programmes in English, which means that applicants for a Bachelor's degree should have a solid knowledge of Finnish or Swedish to be able to participate in lectures and exams on the Bachelor's level.

Applicants with Finnish nationality or applicants with an EB/IB/AICE degree are welcome to apply for Bachelor's degree. Please note that a language certificate in Finnish is required.

M.Sc. Architecture and Landscape Architecture

The Master's degree consists of 120 ECTS and takes at least two years of full-time study to complete.

Students with a B.Sc. degree in Architecture or Landscape Architecture from the Department of Architecture, have the right to continue with the Master's degree.

Two master degree study options:
1. Creative Sustainability Master's programme
2. Major in the General Department degree programme.
