For prospective students

Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture provides top level education in undergraduate, master and doctoral programmes. We offer Master's degree programs in both Finnish and English.

Aalto University is a new multidisciplinary university, where science and art meet technology and business. The principal idea is that education must provide new opportunities, rather than laying ready-made paths.

Collaboration with Finnish and international universities, businesses and various organizations forms an essential part of teaching and operations at Aalto University. With diverse exchange and work placement programmes, students can acquire important international experience and networks that may be required of them in the future.

Schedules and applications for Bachelor’s programmes

Bachelor level studies in the field of Arts, Design and Architecture is available only in Finnish and in Swedish. 

Schedules and applications for Master’s programmes

The normal length for a Master’s degree is 2 years. The application period Master’s programmes at Aalto University runs from 2 January to 15 February 2013.
